while i recognize (and perhaps agree with) GreenLama's point about IA's not disclosing the fact (if they are even blatantly aware) that the personal info. is actually available to the few who even bother to go into the metadata file, i agree with you what does it really matter ... 99.99% of the people who upload live recordings (i can't speak to any other part of the Archive) i do not imagine would have any issue with it ... i know for my part, i use a 'junk' email address, so couldn't give a damn

on the other hand, 'privacy' died the day the internet went live to the greater public, get used to it all ye facebook/linkedin mongers...
